Methodology
Source it. Date it. Show the formula.
The platform separates published facts, user assumptions and calculations.
Product data sourcing
Records use manufacturer pages, manuals or official technical documents. Missing values remain unpublished; CoffeeBicycle does not infer compatibility from marketing language.
Regulatory sourcing
Compliance summaries use responsible government agencies. Coverage is scoped by jurisdiction and operating model, dated, and always carries a verification warning.
Calculator assumptions
Tools display formulas and editable assumptions. Results are planning estimates, not quotes, engineering approval, legal advice or income promises.
Confidence labels
High means directly stated in a primary source; Medium means the primary source is incomplete or context-dependent; Low and Unverified records are not published as verified facts.
Corrections and updates
Material corrections update the record and checked date. Product sources are reviewed when records are edited; regulatory pilots should be rechecked at least annually and after known rule changes.
